Individually, our stories matter. Together, they create something beautiful. A powerful, living, breathing storybook of human experience. Inspiring each other, one story at a time.
Welcome
I’m Jayed, and I am so glad you found your way to my new blog. I consider it “our” blog, as it is a space for our collective stories, reflections, and creative writings.
This represents me stepping out of my comfort zone. As someone who is introverted and reserved, this is new territory for me. But it is an important opportunity to share my thoughts and life experiences. I believe that sharing our stories is helpful for both the writer and the reader; it offers solace to know we are not alone, regardless of our circumstances.
My workdays are busy. My thoughts are wild and incessant. I’m an insomniac. I’m a flawed human. I am not whole and I am learning to repair the shattered pieces of my life. Joyfully, I am a mom, and family is always my greatest priority.
My hope is to strengthen our community through creativity and self-expression, encouraging others to push beyond their limits and share their extraordinary talents. By sharing our stories, we can all participate in our collective healing, one story at a time.

How To Submit Your True Story
To Submit Your True Story: Complete this form OR submit your story via email, to jayedstayed@gmail.com
- Format: Short stories, long stories, plays, and monologues. All stories must have a title. Stories will be posted unedited, the way they were submitted.
- Length: No story is too short to share, but please limit submissions to 2000 words maximum.
- Authenticity: All submissions must be your own true, real-life stories. All submissions must be original and written by you.
- Anonymity: All submissions will be published anonymously unless otherwise requested by the author upon submission.
- Discretion: As this blog is public, you are encouraged to use pseudonyms or change identifying details (names/locations) for your own protection and the protection of others. However, depending upon the story and story type, that choice is yours.
- Media: (Optional) You are welcome to submit any supporting media as an attachment via email. Email jayedstayed@gmail.com with the title of your story in the Subject line
